PM Modi meets Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov on the sidelines of the World Government Summit in Dubai. PM added "Some 200 years ago, 94% of the world's one billion population lived in poverty. In the last 25 years, maternal mortality has fallen by one-third and by half in the world. Scientific advances have made these possible" PM Modi said at the World Government Summit. He also added “Dubai is an example for the world. For development, Dubai is a great driver of technology. It has converted a desert into an ocean, a miracle feat”

PM Modi and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum held talks on expanding our cooperation in trade & investment, defence & security and people-to-people contacts, according to the Ministry of External Affairs.
