PM Modi asks State Governments to take serious steps on mobs lynching

Prime Minister Narendra Modi strongly condemned Mob Lynching during a discussion on the non-confidence motion brought by the Opposition in Lok Sabha. At the same time, the state government appealed to take strict action against such incidents. Earlier, leaders of other opposition parties, including Congress President Rahul Gandhi, raised the issue of mobs lining up loudly in the House.

Speaking in the Lok Sabha on the recent events of mobs luncheon in many parts of the country, PM Modi said that such incidents cannot be tolerated and the state governments will take strict action in such cases.

Responding to a discussion on the motion of no confidence in the Lok Sabha, PM Modi said, "In recent times, incidents of violence have taken place. These incidents are tragic and against the fundamental principle of humanity. State governments are taking steps. I want to say once again to state governments that strict action should be taken in such cases. "

Earlier, during the debate on the motion of no confidence, many leaders of opposition including Congress President Rahul Gandhi raised the issue of mob lingering in the country by killing a mob. Rahul Gandhi had questioned the silence of PM Modi over the mobs lining and attacked him directly. Meanwhile, the Congress President also attacked the Defense Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on the Rafael Aircraft deal.
