Rahul Gandhi has yet again attacked prime minister Narendra Modi calling him "an instrument of corruption". He was talking to reporters post a rally in Meghalaya on Wednesday. The state goes to vote on February 27.

While talking to the reporters, Rahul was asked about the PNB scam of Rs.11,400 crore, to which he replied, "Narendra Modi is not against corruption, he is an instrument of corruption."

Mocking Modi's poor governance and inability to stop defaulters like Nirav Modi and Vijay Mallya, he termed Modi as a magician who has disappeared these fraud businessmen and can even disappear democracy from India.

"Scamsters like Vijay Mallya, Lalit Modi, and Nirav Modi magically disappeared from India and reappeared in foreign soil, out of the reach of Indian law. His magic can even make democracy disappear from India," said Gandhi speaking at Jowai.

The Congress president also targeted PM Modi for not speaking over the grand PNB Fraud and Rafale Deal. He took to Twitter and took a dig at Modi's "Mann ki Baat" program.

Rahul Gandhi tweeted:

"Modi Ji, last month you ignored my suggestions for your Mann Ki Baat monologue.
Why ask for ideas when in your heart you know what every Indian wants to hear you speak about?
1. Nirav Modi's 22,000 Cr. Loot & Scoot
2. The 58,000 Cr. RAFALE scam.
I look forward to your sermon,"
