New Delhi: Russian President Vladimir Putin after having a warm welcome in India by foreign minister Sushma Swaraj and followed by a lavish dinner with PM Narendra Modi on Friday will hold bipedal talks to his Indian counterpart. India will keep eyes on a key defense deals likely to be signed between the two countries. Check out here what will be the main focus -

1-Top of the agenda at Hyderabad House on Friday morning is $5-billion deal for the advanced S-400 air defence system.

2-New Delhi also wants to show that its defense needs cannot be restrained by likes and dislikes of the other country.

3-US and China would be keeping a close watch on Putin's India visit because any large defense deal between New Delhi and another country is seen by the Chinese and Americans as having possible upshots for Beijing and Washington DC.

4-Putin and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are likely to also talk about the possibility of a second Russian-built nuclear power plant.

5-Russia could also coach Indian astronauts with Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) that aims to send a manned space mission in 2022.
