Once again, Indian star Shuttler PV Sindhu lost the final match to Spain’s Carolina Marin on Sunday. She settled for the silver medal after losing 19 -21, 10-21 in the summit clash at Nanjing, China. This was her second successive defeat in final at the World Championships. With this Victory over Sindhu, Carolina Marin became the first women singles women player to bagged gold three times at world championship.

Marin played the aggressive game from starting and Sindhu also gave tough competition to her but as the game processed Spanish lady tighten her grip on the game. In the first game, Marin took the game away 21-19 and he successfully continued the momentum in the second game also and showed pure dominance 21-10 and at the end, she grabbed her third gold.

It is the eight defeat of Sindhu in major finals since 2016. She suffered defeat at Rio Olympics, Hong Kong opens (2017 -2018), Super Series Final, Indian Open and Thailand Open.

After defeat PV Sindhu said that it is frustrating for her to lose again and she has to come back stronger and get back to the sessions and prepare for the next tournament. She further added that it was a good match and she is happy that she came to finals. Winning and losing is a part of life and she has to take it as it is.
