The movie Padmavat is not only famous this year but it is among the most controversial and most talked-about films of the world so far. The release of the movie has been delayed many times due to protests by Rajput organizations about the film. After all, the controversy came in front of the film and the audience. The audience also accepted the film in a good manner. The good news is about the film that screening of Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed film Padmavat will be screened at the 21st Shanghai International Film Festival. According to the information, in the non-competitive section of the festival, Padmavat has been included under Focus of India. The fest has begun from June 16 which will run till June 25. 

Padmavat was a period drama film that earned more than 585 million Worldwide. Ranveer Singh did a negative role in the film Padmavat. Ranvir portrayed Alauddin Khilji In the film, Deepika Padukone had played the role of Padmavati and Shahid Kapoor played the role of Raja Ratan Singh. Ranveer Singh's acting on this film was highly appreciated. From spectators to Bollywood stars, Ranvir's character and acting were liked.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali, in the list of famous directors, has earlier directed several gorgeous films. They have directed Shahrukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit starrer Devdas. It was directed by Bhansali, who also directed the film, Bajirao Mastani, in which Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh played a key role. The Rani Mukherjee starrer Hichki has received a lot of praise in the Shanghai International Film Festival. After watching this short film of the Queen, the audience stood up and applauded. On this occasion, the film's director Siddharth Malhotra was present, who shared it on Twitter too.
