For now, the superstar is focusing on the promotion of his upcoming fim Padman, and Akki has just dropped upon us a new poster of the biopic. Akshay is making debut with this movie ‘2.0’.
The superstar’s Khiladi of Bollywood ‘Padman’ is all set to hit screens on Republic Day, I.e on 26th 2018. The film which tells the story of real life social activist Arunachalam Muruganantham, talks about the difficulty of discharge medicine in rural India. The Tamil Nadu based revolutionary created a low-cost sanitary napkins machine not only aiding the cause of hygiene but also raising awareness about the importance of using sanitary napkins instead of alternate options like a cloth, cotton and other such.
And sharing the new poster of the film, Akshay looks every bit of “mad” as the caption hints.
After 2.0 required more time for post-production, Akshay Kumar’s Padman now has a clearer run at the box office on the Republic Day. The only other film that may prove to be competitors for the biopic is Sidharth Malhotra- Manoj Bajpayee’s Aiyaari.
