New Delhi: In a shameful act of cross-border terrorism by the Pakistani troops, the injured body of a missing Border Security Force (BSF) jawan was recovered along the India-Pakistan border in Jammu on Tuesday, as news reporting agency PTI stated. The assassinated jawan had gone missing a few days ago. He was brutally murdered by the Pakistan Border Action Team. As per to a Times Now report, the BSF jawan was trapped and his weapon was seized and his throat was slit. The body was also found with several knife wounds, telling the cruelty of the murder story. A hard-hitting attempt to behead the jawan was also made after he was shot by a sniper, according to reports.

“The body of the jawan was found by a search party. It is suspected that he was shot with a precise aim by the Pakistani side when they were clearing the area near the fence,” a senior official asserted the news agency.

This terrible incident came ahead of the much-awaited India-Pakistan cricket match in the ongoing Asia Cup 2018, raising questions that should India shun Asia Cup match with Pakistan when Indian army is being harshly killed at the border. Sources have also reported that Pakistan Prime Minister and former cricketer Imran Khan is likely to be present at the match in Dubai on Wednesday.
