American stage, film actress and mezzo-soprano singer, Eileen Patricia Augusta Fraser Morison also know as Patricia Morison died of natural causes at her home in Los Angeles on May 20, at the age of 103. The news has been confirmed by the Publicist Harlan Boll.

The actor has originated the role of an overemotional diva in the Broadway musical Kiss Me, Kate, starred on stage opposite Yul Brynner in The King and I and appeared in films with Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn.

With her stunning looks which includes her long auburn hair and fiery blue-grey eyes, Patricia Morison had always portrait a sophisticated sex appeal According to the reports, she had  “the most sensual mouth of any lady in the movies”, Gregory William Mank wrote in his book Women in Horror Films, the 1940s. 

After her death, a Broadway actress Merle Dandridge posted a picture of herself with Morison and gave a tribute on her Twitter account. She wrote, “Rest, Beautiful Patricia Morison. It was an honor to follow in your footsteps.”

Eileen Patricia Augusta Fraser Morison was often cast as the femme fatale or villain. Her career as a villain actor includes the mastermind in 1946’s Dressed to Kill who sparred with Sherlock Holmes which has been played by Basil Rathbone.
