Now in the Pocso law, the difference between boys and girls will end. The bill for this change in Poxo law is likely to be approved in the monsoon session of Parliament. This bill also provides for the punishment of death from rape or miscreants with children up to 12 years of age. An ordinance has already been brought on this change in the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (Pocso  ) for crimes against small children. So far, cases of sexual offenses against small boys are increasing in the country. Therefore, after the ordinance, the Ministry of Women and Child Development has now proposed gender equality by changing the bill coming in the monsoon session. 
 
For 20 years, the minimum sentence to amend the Pocso Act has reduced the 10-year minimum sentence to 20 years in the case of rape from children under the age of 16 years. In the case of misbehavior, it is also proposed to be heard in three months and appeals in six months. In this proposal, it has also been made clear that who is guilty of rape or misdeed of a child under 12 years of age will be given a minimum 20 years jail or even life sentence for death. The penalty should be imposed so that the victim can be helped and treated.   
 
According to Crime (Child Rights and You), a non-governmental organization working for child rights, crime in the country has increased by more than 500 percent in the last 10 years. According to statistics, 50 percent of the crimes against children were registered in five states of the country. It consists of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Delhi and West Bengal. According to one study, in India every 15 minutes a child is victims of sexual offenses. 6 children are missing every hour in the country.
