Pooja Hegde has made a strong comeback in Tollywood as she is going to appear in Ram Charan's film Ranganathan 1985 in which she will giving a special performance by doing the item song. Pooja Hegde saw in the movie opposite Hrithik Roshan in 'Mohan Jodaro' the movie was not that much hit. Well, it was her debut film in Bollywood but again the actress will shake leg with Ram Charan in his next. Most of the major big Telugu releases in recent past have had special numbers featuring leading actresses such as Kajal Aggarwal and Tamannaah Bhatia. The best and the most recent example being Tamannaah, who set the screen on fire with her presence in Swing Zara song in Jr NTR’s Jai Lava Kusa.
Apparently, Pooja will be seen in a peppy folk number in Rangasthalam 1985 and will match steps with Ram Charan, to be seen in a full-length rural avatar. The makers for long were on the lookout for a leading lady to do this special song. Since they loved the energy with which Pooja danced in DJ, they felt she could do justice to the song and immediately roped her in. The song is most likely to be shot over the weekend or in the coming weeks. A special set has been erected in Hyderabad where it will be shot.
