Delhi Police Authorities today held the main suspect in the Central Board of Secondary Education paper leak case as India TV reported.

A suspected man identified as Vicky was arrested by the police today, a day after the CBSE announced that it would re-conduct the Class 10 mathematics and Class 12 economics examinations following reports that the exam papers had leaked.

Vicky, according to sources, is the owner of a Delhi-based Vidya Coaching Centre. Vicky did Bachelors in Computers from the Delhi University. He passed out in 1996.

Vicky was held following a series of raids launched by the Delhi Police's Crime Branch, which is examining how the exam papers were leaked.

Following Students uproar, The Delhi Police has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the paper leak. Officials earlier said that initial inquiry had suggested that the papers were leaked a day before the Class 10 mathematics examination.

Ahead of recent controversies Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday tried to corner the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government by unfolding the "leaks" that had taken place during its term.

“How many leaks? Data leak! Aadhaar leak! SSC exam leak! Election date leak! CBSE papers leak! There is a leak in everything, the watchdog is weak”, Rahul tweeted.

Yesterday, the CBSE, without openly admitting that the papers were leaked, declared retests for the Class 10 mathematics and Class 12 economics subjects.

The fresh dates of re-exams have not yet been announced.
