Priyanka recently admitted the issue of color discriminaton in an interview given to a famous International Magazine. Priyanka says that she has lost many Hollywood films due to her skin color last year, due to which Priyanka is very disappointed. Actually, once Priyanka's manager got a call from a studio in which she had said that Priyanka's physiology is not correct due to which she did not get the role in the film. Priyanka did not understand the meaning, then the manager explained that film makers do not have a brown face for their film.

Priyanka has also been a victim of apartheid in childhood. Even when she took admission in American school, she was able to hear many obnoxious reasons for her color. Priyanka said, "When I was 12 years old, I came to American school for study. But due to the apartheid comments of the people in America, I had to return to India from here.
