A Maulvi has been arrested in connection with a sexual assault with a child in a madrasa located in Pune. Two of the madrasa's children said that they had recently fled from here because of one of the Maulvi who came in with one of his acquaintance sexually exploited them. Police said that the accused Maulana Rahim (21) was arrested on Friday evening. In this regard, child rights activist Dr Yamini Adbe filed a complaint with the police.

After receiving the complaint, the police reached the spot and investigated the Maulvi of the madrasa. At the same time, the police have also released 36 children from the madrasas. A case against Maulvi has been registered against the Maulvi. 21-year-old Rahim Maulvi is being said to be a resident of Bihar.
