NEW DELHI: RLSP (Rashtriya Lok Samta Party)chief and Union minister Upendra Kushwaha on Monday came in support to PM Modi and said that he wanted no coalition with the RJD after its leader Tejashwi Yadav invited him to join the 'Mahagathbandhan' (grand alliance) in Bihar.

Affirming his devotion to his ally partners, the BJP and the JD(U), Kushwaha asserted the RJD was trying to force a hold in the NDA and stated that he would not be quitting the ruling coalition under any situation.

"RJD has lost its base. To find a base, they are making such statements but they mean nothing to me. It's necessary for Modi Ji to remain PM in interest of the nation. He will be PM next time too," Kushwaha told ANI in an one to one talk.

The statement from RLSP chief came in a move as he was reacting to opposition leaders asking him to break away from the NDA and join hands with the RJD-Congress grand coalition in Bihar after reports surfaced of a crack between Kushwaha and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar.

The invitation from the RJD leader came after Kushwaha missed out a get-together of senior NDA leaders in Patna on Friday. The Union minister had downplayed his absence asserting it was due to some "personal reasons" and stated that the alliance was unbroken.
