Jantar Mantar Protest: Rahul Gandhi Joined SC/ST Protesters, Congress president Rahul Gandhi addressing Dalit protesters at Jantar Mantar in the national capital New Delhi lashed out PM Modi and attacked him through his book written when he was CM of Gujarat.

Rahul Gandhi said, 'Daliton ko safai karne se anand milta hai'. This is his ideology of PM Modi.

He asserted “Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants Dalits to remain marginalised. If Modi had place for Dalits in his heart, his policies would have shown it by now. I assure you; the Congress will not let the SC/ST Act to be diluted.”

Congress president Rahul Gandhi has joined protesters from the SC/ST and Dalit communities at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar where the activists are demanding that their leaders who were arrested under criminal charges after April’s Bharat Bandh should be released.

The agitators are also demanding the arrest of all those involved in atrocities against Dalits and for the government of Madhya Pradesh to straight away make a public statement in line with the one made by Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje and declared that cases of atrocities against Dalits will be scrutinized on priority basis and those made arrested without legitimate reasons shall be free without any more delay.
