New Delhi: party, the Congress Working Committee (CWC) is likely to meet on Monday at party chief Sonia Gandhi's dwelling in the national capita for Rahul Gandhi's possible elevation as a party president for Gujarat elections.

The meeting will take place at 10: 30 am, is likely to talk about the schedule of the party president election as the major agenda.

Rumors have been widespread over Rahul's elevation as the party chief for a while now. At present, Rahul is the party's vice president.

In actuality, last month, on the sideline of an occassion in New Delhi, party chief Sonia Gandhi had also point toward that Rahul's promotion as a party chief was in the offing, saying that it will be possible "soon".

Most of theParty leaders have been recommending that Congress high command to prop up Rahul to the position of party chief since the last few months.

In October, The Uttarakhand Congress passed a agreed resolution on the lookout for Gandhi's pramotion as the party president.

Past months ago, Rajasthan, Delhi and Goa units of Congress had passed as it is resolutions concerning the Gandhi scion's pramotion.

 Rajasthan Congress chief Sachin Pilot had told that Rahul Gandhi may don the Congress president  crown shortly after Diwali, and  added that "the time is full-grown for Rahul to elevate as party president".
