Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi as one year of the Note ban was completed. Rahul Gandhi tweeted that the Note ban is a tragedy and has destroyed the lives and livelihood of millions of people.

 Let us tell you that on November 8 last year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took an immense decision against black money and banned the 500 and 1000 notes in the country.

 Rahul has written in a tweet that the demonetization is a tragedy. We are standing with millions of honest Indians, whose lives and livelihood have been destroyed by the prime minister's thoughtless decision. Rahul will visit Surat on Wednesday for the first anniversary of the Note ban .Congress is observing eight November as 'Black Day'.

Significantly, on November 8, 2016, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had banned the notes of 500 and 1000, after which people from all over the country took money for new notes and spent hours in long queues outside the ATM for almost 50 days. Opposition parties had stoutly opposed this decision. Today, on the completion of one year of the Note ban under the leadership of the ruling party BJP, The Congress and the opposition will observe this day as 'black day'.

While The BJP is going to celebrate the day  as anti- 'black money day' .
