New Delhi :Congress President Rahul Gandhi arrived at Siri Fort College to address a gathering of Professors in the national capital Delhi. Lashing out PM Modi led BJP government on the issue of surgical strike day celebration on several universities across the nation, He said, “ Govt has to move to see education as a central part of India's strategic resource. I understand you feel under pressure, threat and that an ideology is being imposed on you. A country of over billion people cannot be run with one single idea,” Rahul Gandhi in an interaction with academicians.

 "Amit Shah said that Indai is a  'golden bird'., it means they view it as a product, This is the RSS and BJP  vision to see India". Rahul Gandhi cornered the national president of BJP and RSS.

Rahul in his indirect attack said, “The Indian education system must be allowed to have its own voice and express its own opinion”.

Ealier a day University Grants Commission (UGC) issued circular to vice chancellors of all universities and asked them to provide the list of activities which may be undertaken on 29th September following Govt of India's decision to celebrate it as 'Surgical Strike Day'.On the clarification concerning the same after hullaballoo created by congress, Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar said that Government has not made any compulsions on institutions or students. He added that the circular have issued to collect the suggestions from many students & teachers that they need to commemorate the second anniversary of the surgical strike.
