The highly-awaited sequel to Robot, 2.0 is set to release on November 29. The science fiction movies starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar in lead roles has been given a U/A certificate by the censor board after they reviewed the movie.

The trailer of the film was launched on November 3 at a gala event. In this star-studded event Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, and Amy Jackson were present.

2.0 is directed by Shankar.  It  is being considered as India's costliest film with a budget of more than Rs 530 crore. The movie has a run-time of 100 minutes. The trailer has already created a buzz on social media. In fact, the science based movie trailer of the film clocked more than 140 million views in just a few days of its release including all social media platfroms.

AR Rahman has scored the music for this big-budget film. The song Rajali has already become the rant and rave amongst the youth. 2.0 prequel Robot has stars Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai in the lead. The story was about a humanoid robot Chitti. In 2.0, Chitti will see a rebirth to struggle evil forces.

2.0 has been shot in Tamil. It will release in 14 other languages with dubbed versions. After a long time, Akshay Kumar who is going to debut in south industry,will be seen in a negative role in this film.
