Superstar Rajnikanth after the success of Kaala left for Darjeeling to start the shoot for his next film. Rajnikanth’s kaala is a big hit. Audience liked the movie. The movie is getting the positive response from the audience as well as from critics.

Rajnikanth always does things in Rajni's style. He is always on for work. He didn’t even take a break after kaala and now he is ready to shoot for his next movie in West Bengal.

Rajinikanth is shooting in West Bengal for the very first time. He is shooting in Darjeeling. He had sent for West Bengal's chief minister Mamta Banerjee. In regards, Mamta Banerjee sent tourism minister of West Bengal Gautam Deb to meet Rajnikanth. Gautam Deb went to Darjeeling to meet the superstar.

Rajnikanth in return expressed his gratitude towards the chief minister. He said that I am surprised there are so many beautiful locations here but they have not been explored. Through this movie, the whole country will know about this place. I am really so happy to meet lovely and kind-hearted people.  I am going to remain here for 30 days for the movie shoot.” The Kabali star shooting for the first time in Bengal, also reportedly said that he was glad to be in the land of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Vivekananda, Subash Chandra Bose and Rabindranath Tagore.
