Hansal Mehta directed film titled Omerta’s trailer released on Youtube on Wednesday. The film stars Rajkumar Rao who plays the role of British terrorist of Pakistani descent Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh. The film is based on the life of the terrorist who is behind 9/11 world trade center attack and 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. He had also brutally beheaded American journalist Daniel Pearl which is also a part of the film.

The trailer of the film makes it clear that the film explores the world of terrorism and gives an insight into the making of a terrorist. The trailer has clips of terrorist camps where Rao is seen undergoing training. Rao has also played a similar role in Shahid where the protagonist joins a terrorist camp, though, only for a short period of time and later studies to become a human rights activist and lawyer.

The film has been widely acclaimed in the film festival circuit at festivals like Toronto International Film Festival, Busan Film Festival, and Jio MAMI. It is a film on British terrorist of Pakistani descent, Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh which has been shot on real locations in London and India.

The first poster of Omerta was released two days ago and was widely appreciated by fans and critics alike.
