The upcoming biopic of NTR is creating lot of buzz since the announcement of its making. This movie is based on the very interesting life of NT Rama Rao. The star cast of the movie includes Nandamuri Balakrishna as N.T.R Vidya Balan as Basavatarakam, his first wife and Rana Daggubati as Nara Chandrababu Naidu. Now Rakul Preet Singh has been roped in to play the role of late Sridevi in the NTR biopic.

As per the reports of Bollywood life, Producer Vishnu Induri has informed that they haven't approached Sonakshi, Kangana or Shraddha. Rakul Preet Singh is their only choice as she's popular in the South, especially in Telugu films. He further informed that they have shot almost 30 per cent of the movie. Entertainment Industry Tracker Ramesh Bala also shared the post regarding the entry of Rakul Preet in biopic. He shared the picture of Sridevi and Rakul Preet and wrote Rakulpreet will be playing Late Sridevi in the upcoming NTR Bio-pic.

Late Bollywood actress Sridevi has worked with NTR in 14 movies. Sridevi and NTR's popular movies include Rowdi Ramudu Konte Krishnudu and Vayyari Bhamalu Vagalamaari Bharthalu. Sridevi and NTR both were the important part of each other’s acting career.
