On Wednesday, an angry mob reportedly stripped and paraded a youth naked in Mon town of Nagaland. According to the reports, the youth has allegedly raped a minor girl earlier. The victim then told her family about the incident and hence her family and relatives punished the accused boy.

According to the reports in TOI, the police officials have confirmed the incidence that the prime accuse Rahul Sen, age 20, was paraded with a banner hung on his neck which read "I am the rapist of 12-year-old minor girl".

The accused youth is a watch mechanic says reports. During the parade conducted by the angry mob, police rescued the accuse and took him to the police station. He is said to be the native of Assam's Dibrugarh District. After the incident took place police officials have registered a case of rape. Officials reported that the accused will be produced in court on Thursday. 

While, the minor girl, whom the youth has raped had undergone a medical test. The reports of the medical test are still awaited after which the further proceedings will take place. Till last reports came, there are still people stirring outside the police station where the rape accused is being grilled.
