Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is celebrating its 40 years as a company. A special event was organized in Mumbai for this. During the celebration, Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani remembered Dhirubhai Ambani, who made Reliance. He said Reliance is the result of a person's vision, how a small dream became an empire.

Mukesh Ambani said that the company started with an employee has become a family of 2.5 lakh employees today. At the same time, the initial one thousand investment has now reached Rs 6 lakh crore. Apart from this, the business of the company has increased from one city to 28 thousand cities and 4 lakh villages. Due to financial constraints, the founder left his high school and started selling pakodas. This made him run his first business. 

After spending eight years there, he returned with a capital of 500 rupees from Yemen in 1958 and started a textile trading company margin with his cousin Champakal Damani. After that, he founded Reliance in the 1960s.   Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has become the country's largest company today. Its market capitalization ie market capitalization is at Rs 581,732.30 crores.

In this case, it is the largest company in the country. Reliance Industries has become the largest player in hydrocarbon exploration and production, petroleum refining and marketing, petrochemicals, retail and high-speed digital service business.
