The holy month of Ramadaan is marked as the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. It is believed that the first verses of the Holy Quran were revealed to prophet Mohammad on this day.

People fast for almost 29 to 30 days resulting in the day of celebration known as eid.every believer have to abstain themselves from any sexual or intimate relation during daytime or anything that seems to be tempting and appealing.

If you’re a traveler and want to visit a few Muslim countries and you happen to travel during Ramadan, these are the things you should keep in mind.

  • The routines:

There is particular time fixed for the two meals in the day also known as sehri and iftaari. Apart from these, there is no availability of food available. Keep arrangements for the rest of the day.

  • shorter business hours:

The market is open for a shorter time, if you wish to buy souvenirs for your family and friends, you should better understand the market timings.

  • public display of love:

The intimation is prohibited during the month of Ramazan. sacrificing any intercourse during the daylight. Keep in mind that such actions cannot be made in public places, it could offend the Muslim population there.
