Renault, the famous vehicle manufacturer of France, is known for its strong cars. Recently, a new information about Renault has been found, in which it has been stated that the automaker Renault has closed its major four cars in India, due to which the company will no longer produce it. Closed cars include Pulse Hatchback and Scala Sdan. Though Renault India has not officially announced the closure of the vehicles, in the report, it is being said that the production of Pulse Hatchback and Scala will not be in India.

Sumit Sahni, MD, and CEO of Renault India said that the company had started operating in India six years ago and now its portfolios are Kwid and Duster. We want to expand our portfolio by launching a car every year. They are being discontinued due to their poor sales. New models and cars will be replaced in their place.

Despite low sales for the Scala and Pulse models, Renault is in no mood to discontinue these cars just as yet. The company will possibly reincarnate the Scala and Pulse in near future so as to improve the sales of both the cars in India. Once the revamped versions are introduced, expect Renault to continue the production of the Scala and Pulse back again.
