Blood pressure rise and fall from the normal level has become a major issue faced by the people across the world. To resolve the issue, the Accord Healthcare Inc. have made a lot of studies regarding the same and have announced that they have finally drived a method to battle all such blood pressure issues. The discovery became possible only after they found out a bottle of wrong pills.
The bottle contained 100-pill and should have had Hydrochlorothiazide Tablets USP 12.5 mg, but it had Spironolactone Tablets USP 25 mg. This combination is originally used to treat congestive heart failure, cirrhosis of the liver and several other diseases.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) officials had informed that the taking wrong medicines for an issue could prove fatal to the patient.
FDA had recently revealed about drugs that contain valsartan which treats high blood pressure and heart failure.
Their products contained an impurity, N-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA), a substance that is a potential carcinogen. Several lab tests have also proved it to be probable human carcinogen.
Apart from all the flaws in the products and pills, now the company is trying to aim on the production of the blood pressure pills.
