India's renowned fashion designer, Rohit Bal recently took out time from his busy schedule and took to the social networking site, Facebook, to share his honest opinion on the equations between Bollywood and the Fashion Industry. To inform you, Rohit Bal has designed outfits for some well known Bollywood stars like Sonam Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and many others. 

The designer expressed that a lot of Bollywood stars believe in endorsing certain designers. They do not look for what amazes them, rather they choose to wear what their so-called favorite fashion designer brings out.

Sometime after he posted his opinion, he deleted them.

Well, in the post he wrote that he really wished to share his opinion on the matter and draw some light to it. He said that he has been in the fashion industry for around 30 years and from a lot of time, he has been observing the downfall of the industry. He said that the fashion industry has come a long way but has not moved in the right direction. 

The designer also made his point that we need to understand that any dress designed for a movie is basically a costume and we cannot blindly copy a costume referring to it as what you call fashion.
