Indian cricket team, after winning the three-Test series 1-0 and wrapping the three-match ODI series 2-1, is all set to face Lankans in a three-T20I series with the first fixture scheduled on December 20 in Cuttack.

The Sri Lankans, who have a good fight time after bring thrashed across formats at their own backyard a few months ago, will be looking to conquer a new-look Indian line-up, which also comprises three new bowlers namely Mohammad Siraj, Basil Thampi and Jaydev Unadkat, who is returning after four years. Before the 1st T20I, India’s new pace-attack was seen practising under head coach Ravi Shastri in a video shared by the official Twitter handle of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

 

After the end of T20I series against Sri Lanka, Team India will fly down to South Africa for a full-fledged series comprising of three Tests, six ODIs, and three T20Is in what is going to be a tough challenge for them. The tour will embark with the beginning of the first Test on January 5, 2018.

Skipper Virat Kohli, who has returned to India after his wedding with his long-time girlfriend and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, will also join the squad which will travel to South Africa, giving a boost to the line-up.
