Supreme Court expressed concern over the incident where 34 minor girls in Bihar's Supaul were thrashed for allegedly resisting sexual advances. The top court of India suggested Centre for setting up a national institution to ensure proper psychological rehabilitation of victims as well as accused juveniles.

Taking cognizance on this horrific incident, the Supreme Court observed that all these newspaper reports are not good. It added, “Skeleton of girls found... 34 girls beaten up because they wanted to protect themselves from molestation”. The Apex Court asked, “How could you treat children like this?”.

Supreme Court also said that “These kinds of problems are arising day in and day out.”

Meanwhile Centre has sought time to implement the suggestion given by the Supreme Court. Earlier Police have arrested nine people in connection with the assault of girl students in Supaul district of Bihar, including a minor. At the same time, the police has asked for metric certificate from the rest. Police say that investigation is going on in this matter so that no innocent person gets punishment. About 30 girls were injured in this attack.

Let us tell you that some of the miscreant entered and beat up the girls on Saturday in Kasturba Gandhi Girls Hostel. In this incident 30 girl students were injured, who were admitted to the hospital.
