Tomorrow, that is on November 17, is the last day to apply for the SSC JE Exam 2017. Staff Selection Commission, SSC had released the notification for recruitment at the Junior Engineer, JE level in the various departmental organization on October 21, 2017. The online applications are currently open but would close tomorrow. Interested candidates are advised to register at the earliest on ssconline.nic.in. Please note, that the cut off date for educational qualification for SSC JE Exam 2018 was later revised. As per the later notification, the cut off date for determining the validity of the degree is set at January 1, 2018 and not August 1, 2018. The remaining eligibility criteria remain the same as published in the official notification. Candidates interested are advised to carefully go through the detailed notification before applying. Also, the forms would be availabel on the website ssconline.nic.in. The posts are for civil, mechanical, electrical and quantity surveying & contract divisions. Women candidates are encouraged to apply, please note that the  posts of Junior Engineers in Director General Border Roads Organisation (BRO), Ministry of Defence are only open for male candidates. Also, kindly note that there is no reservation for ex-servicemen posts. However ex-servicemen can apply for the relaxation in the age limit.
