Women's great effort to get entry into the Sabarimala temple continued for the third day. Heavy police deployment have been made along the way of the temple as protesters not ready to obey Supreme court order allowing all age groups women to enter into the shrine.

In these wake two women Journalist, Kavitha Jakkal of Hyderabad based Mojo TV and woman activist Rehana Fatima from Hyderabad started trekking to Sabarimala hill Friday amid strong protests by devotees who were opposing the entry of girls and women of menstrual age into the Lord Ayyappa temple.Here are visuals of two women who are en-route to the Sabarimala temple.

Meanwhile, Rahna Fathima's house in Ernakulam has been damaged by protestors.

Since Police and protesters are in a confrontation over the issue of entry of 2 women in temple, Inspector General S Sreejith to devotees asserted, “Police will not create any issue in Sabarimala and we don't want a confrontation with you devotees. We are only following the law. I will be discussing with the higher authorities and brief them on the situation”.

Police led by IG S Sreejithhave have thrown a security ring around the women who had requested security to go to Sabarimala Sannidhanam.

On Thursday, a New Delhi-based woman journalist was blocked by human chain of protestors in midway opposing the entry of women of menstrual age into the hill shrine.
