After Processing from an altercation with the censor board, Saif Kaalakaandi, in the beginning, the movie release in September 2017 had now got a new release date and will be settled in January 2018.There are also reports of Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati which is mired in controversy to see the light of the day in January. Will Saif be blessed with his best friend Deepika Padukone film clashing with Kaalakaandi? Saif Ali Khan said in an interview "If Padmavati comes in (on the same day), we will think of shift our release date. I hope we don't have to do that. Kaalakaandi is a film I am proud of."He further said that both the films clash at the box office it will be a great result as in the past films have also clashed and did well at box office. "it would have been nice to see Kaalakaandi releasing with Padmavati, as it shows that we have a Bollywood industry, which makes a different kind of movies. Recently we saw Secret Superstar and Golmaal Again releasing on the same day and both the films did well. Personally, I feel its good time to have films releasing alongside one another. Filmmakers are wary about it and you have to take that into consideration."Saif's last releases this year Rangoon and Chef were normal at big screen quite impress the audience. Admitted to being 'bothered' by it, the Rangoon actor said, "it's easy to think that people no longer want to see me in a film. But I don't do that. I get my confidence back every time, irrespective whether my film works or no. I'll keep working and hopefully, things will fall into place."Padmavati clashes with Kaalakaandi is something only time will going to decide but what we can say is that by the trailer Kaalakaandi has all the potential to be a winner in 2018.
