As in India MeToo movement is exposing several sexual offenders and supported by B-town prominent celebs .Gaining massive momentum this MeToo movement grabbed Filmmaker Sajid Khan who has been accused of sexual harassment by 3 woman including a journalist . After Akshay Kumar’s harsh comment on sexual offender Sajid has now in a tweet responded that he is stepping out as the director of his upcoming movie Houseful 4  in which Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde, Nana Patekar are in key roles and requested everyone to not pass the judgement till the "truth is out."

 Film maker’s statement on Twitter handle read, "In the wake of the allegations against me and the pressure being put on my family, my producers and the stars of my film Houseful 4,  I must take the moral responsibility of stepping down from my directorial post, till the time I can allay the allegations and prove the truth. I request my friends in media to not pass out judgement till the truth is out. "

 Sajid who has directed several movies including Hey Baby and Houseful series is the brother of prominent filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan.  

On urging of wife Twinkle Khanna who said that she is appalled at the allegations being made and want the Houseful team to take a action on this, Akshay demanded that harassment should be heard and survivors given the justice as they deserve.

 Sharing  a statement on micro blogging website Twitter Akshay wrote, "I've just landed back in the country last night and reading all the news has been very disturbing. I have requested the producers of Housefull 4 to cancel the shoot until further investigation. This is something that requires stringent action. I will not work with any proven offenders and all those who have been subjugated to harassment should be heard and given the justice they deserve."
