As the movie 'Padmavati' is already in the headlines and has become a serious issue with so much happening around the film, the bhaijaan of the Bollywood industry superstar finds it difficult to decide what is wrong and what is right? But, he does feel that a debate around a film only leads to loss. Talking at an event conducted by a leading daily in New Delhi, Salman talked on the Padmavati's topic when he was questioned on the film, which has been facing the fury of fringe groups over alleged distortion of facts.

Salman Khan said, "No one gains from a discussion around a film, and only leads to loss. The movie gets delayed, people panic and avoid from going to theatres. Not only this theatre owner also gets scared that the screening of the film might lead to protest outside their cinema halls."

"I don't think it's right to hurt anyone's sentiments or to say on a film without seeing it first," replied the actor, who worked with Bhansali in his debut film Khamoshi: The Musical and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. The film, produced by Bhansali Productions, stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles. Its release has been postponed indefinitely.
