'Sampark for Samarthan' :Amit Shah to meet Uddhav Thackeray

New Delhi [India], June 05 (NT): Wooing his 'Sampark for Samarthan' (Contact for Support) campaign, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah is programmed to meet Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray at the latter's home on Wednesday, ANI reported.

Launched in May this year, the Sampark for Samarthan initiative will work out to generate awareness about the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government's achievements in the last four years ahed of 2019 Ls polls.

Following recent past disputes as differences have reaped up in the BJP-Shiv Sena coalition in Maharashtra Amit Shah likely to erase clashes line.

In this consideration, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis clarified that although there was no plan to break up the alliance, mutual efforts are crucial to carry on ties.

Minister of State for Home, Hansraj Ahir had also repealed the possibility of a breakup of the alliance, as the BJP and Shiv Sena were two separate parties who followed the same ideology.

In the warm up predations to the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, Shah will reach out to 50 people face-to-face with details of initiatives and achievements of the government, whereas each BJP worker is likely to contact at least 10 people.

On a related note there will also be a special session of 'Sampark for Samarthan' on the NaMo App.
