As per the recent studies, it has been informed that the scientists are working on a new medicine that is aimed at reducing the activity of the HIV virus in the human body. The concept is based on developing a method that slows down the multiplication rate of the HIV virus and also reduces the infection rate.

The experiments performed at the Yale University, postulated that a drug is being worked upon would help to increase the immunity of the body and would, therefore, help to battle AIDS.

The drug might be prescribed with combinations of different drugs.

There are several drugs that do not successfully attack the virus, rather make it more resistant and at times they work to worsen the situation. Well, other drugs do reduce the effect of the viruses. Till date, no drug has been made that could really show a remarkable improvement in the patients health. Therefore a lot of efforts are being made for obtaining a drug that could properly combat the HIV virus.

Well, after the consumption of the drug, up to 83% of the patients involved in the experiment, experienced an improvement in their health. These patients observed a rapid decline in the infection, which went even below the detection level.
