The first half is simple with the feeling of emotions; make Secret Superstar an engaging storyline.

Post-interval, there is an uplifting absence of attention-grabber it dips, and the result is a film stops short of being outstanding.

The film starts with fifteen-year-old Vadodara-based Insiya (Wasim) who aspires of becoming a famed singer. A controlling, abusive father (Arjun), an obedient yet encouraging mother (Vij), and a little brother, a close school friend, and she dearly loved guitar, these makeup Insiya’s world. And each of these elements is so skillfully introduced and developed that we can fully invest to see the young girl.

The second half shows to shilly-shally as it includes set-up and unsurprising curves. We are rooting for Insiya all the way, and when she is made to break through with such unreliable ease, her success seems not earned enough.

The biggest strength of Secret Superstar is the magnificent Dangal fame Zaira Wasim it is such a gladness to see a 15-year-old look .Both Vij as the mother and Arjun as the father are tremendous.

Aamir Khan shows up as the out-of-flavor musician Shakti Kumaarr, all tight animal-printed T-shirts, and crotch hugging jeans, and while his I’m-so-irresistible strutting shtick starts off funny, you wish he could have more to do. And after a point, it starts feeling long-drawn-out.

Fortunately for the film and us, we are left with young Insiya and her shining face, a guiding light of hope for herself and girls in her situation Wasim plays her with great enthusiasm. She is a mix of glisten and nervousness.
