New Delhi: Punjab Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu came in the line of fire once again on Thursday when his photo with Khalistani activist Gopal Singh Chawla floated on the social media.

It is noted that, Sidhu's picture with Chawla came a day after the pro-Khalistani leader was snapped shaking hands with Pakistan Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa at the ground-breaking ceremony for the much-awaited Kartarpur Corridor. The much controversial event was attended by two Indian ministers.

Worth mention here Chawla had shared a dais with Lashkar-e-Toiba chief Hafiz Saeed in the past and a photo of the duo is in the public domain. It should be noted that He is the same man who, a few days ago, stopped Indian officials from visiting a Gurudwara in Lahore to convene Sikh pilgrims who had come from India.

Reports suggested that Chawla is the general secretary of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee.

For those who don’t know during his earlier visit to Pakistan, the cricketer-turned-politician had created storm in Indian politics by hugging Pakistan Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa. Sidhu had visited Pakistan to be present at the swearing-in of Imran Khan as Prime Minister.
