The latest released song from the upcoming movie Veere Di Wedding 'Tareefan' is ruling the hearts and also the charts. Many celebrities have given their thumbs up for the song. Recently, Shaheer Sheikh took to Instagram and share a video wherein he is seen shaking his legs with Shraddha Arya on Veere Di Wedding's song Tareefan. 

In the video post, he wrote, "Since the song and the trailers are so amazing, we were inspired to create something like this... special mention of my partner in crime here @sarya12 !! Looking forward to watching this #notachickflick #veerethewedding @sarya12."

Meanwhile, during an interview with Pinkvilla, when asked about what type of role does he want, on this, Shaheer revealed that he would love to be a part of a historical show. 

When asked about the current television character he would love to do, on this Shaheer Sheik said "NO" and after a thought added that he recently saw a few scenes of Mughal-e-Azam again in which Dilip Kumar has done such a beautiful job. He said that he wishes something like this he could recreate or get an opportunity to play such a character. The actor did a mythological show and then contemporary but haven't tried anything historical.
 
Interestingly, Shaheer is reportedly in discussions with Prithvi Vallabh fame Anirudh Pathak for his magnum opus which is said to be based on Mughal-e-Azam. The actor has seemingly been requested to play Salim in the historic show. 
 
Concerning this, a source had notified a leading daily that Shaheer Sheikh has supposedly shown interest in the project and will be taking a call once he is back in India.
