The Padmavati actor Shahid Kapoor seems unstoppable as his 'Padmavati' is not yet released the actor on the occasion of Diwali announced his next movie title which is little wired but suits on the occasion of Diwali and the name of his upcoming movie is ' Batti Gul Meter Chalu', strange! The movie is going to directed by none another than by the director Narayan Singh who recently directed the movie Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' which was a hit, the movie starrer Akshay Kumar and Bhoomi.
Shahid also took Twitter to announce the news and captioned“Let’s celebrate the festival of light with the hope that soon electricity will be a right and not a privilege for all. ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu". The project is produced by T-Series and KriArj Entertainment. Moreover, the actor Shahid will next be seen alongside Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmavati. The film is slated for release on December 1.
