Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu visited Mumbai as part of his six-day tour to India. After meeting the business fraternity and the Jewish community in Mumbai, Netanyahu also met the who's who of Bollywood.

While marking his gracious presence along with Bollywood dignitaries in Shalom Bollywood, the Israeli PM expressed his love towards Bollywood.

"I used to think I was a big deal, then I realised Amitabh Bachchan has 30 million more followers than me. I added up the other star followers and I realised you are big," Netanyahu stated as addressing in the gala event of Bollywood.

"The world loves Bollywood, Israel loves Bollywood and I love Bollywood,” PM Netanyahu added.

On the subject of Isrel endorsement in the Bollywood industry,  PM Netanyahu stated that Israel has already invested 4 million shekels (which is Israeli currency)in Bollywood.

"I wanna make a pledge, if you come (to Israel) we'll put it in more. We want Bollywood in Israel,"  PM Netanyahu said.

Netanyahu insisted on the growing technological advancement in Israel that film industry of India can do good to from.

"You won't only see great technology, we are very creative. You've seen Homeland and POW that's all our show formats," Netanyahu said as praising Israel film industry advancement in the event.

 From Galaxy of Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Karan Johar, Subhash Ghai, Imtiaz Ali, Ronnie Screwvala, Sara Ali Khan marked their attendance in the event.

 

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis was also there at the event. Addressing the gathering during the event, Fadnavis hailed Bollywood for its remarkable work it is doing and restated that India is looking forward to the partnership with Israel in the entertainment industry.

 

"Israel has great technology and we have Amitabh Bachchan and a galaxy of stars. With the mix of these two, we can create a new world of entertainment. We look forward to your corporation not only in the field of IT and commerce, but also entertainment,"  CM Fadnavis praised Amitabh Bachchan  .

Israel premier took his twitor handle to shared golden moments of this event as asking questions,

“Will my Bollywood selfie beat  @TheEllenShow Hollywood selfie at the Oscars? @SrBachchan @juniorbachchan @rajcheerfull @imbhandarkar @vivek_oberoi @”, he tweeted.
