The political party Shiv Sena took a dig at the NDA government over the crackdown against alleged Maoist to overthrow the government in its mouth peace Saamana. In the Editorial of the newspaper, Shiv Sena aimed NDA and its not Maoists but the people who overthrow the government.

In the editorial, The Maharajahs political party said that NDA should stop saying that Maoists wanted to overthrow your government. It said the Manmohan Singh government wasn't overthrown by Maoists or their sympathizers but by the people of India.  Editorial further reads that It is people who overthrow governments.

The Shiv Sena also mentioned to the claim that Maoists were plotting to assassinate Prime Miniter Narendra Modi. It said that the security of prime minister Modi was top class and it was difficult to breach his security. On Power of Maoist, the editorial reads that If Maoists really had the power to overthrow governments, then they would not have lost in West Bengal, Tripura, and Manipur. So, the police should hold their tongue and keep working or else the BJP will be laughed at.

The police arrested another five alleged Left-wing activists on August 28 who have a connection with the Bhima Koregaon violence. The Supreme Court has directed that the five be kept under house arrest till September 6.
