Recently Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor have been shooting for their forthcoming movie Batti Gul Meter Chalu in Tehri, Uttarakhand. According to the reports, earlier the movie has run into difficulty due to debt issues and the shooting was delayed.

Now according to the report from the leading tabloid, the director of the movie, Shree Narayan Singh told that the shooting of the film will be resumed in the city from next week. Talking about it, Singh stated that, "Shahid and Shraddha were shooting in Tehri and 70 percent of the film is complete. But Yami is yet to begin and she will start next month. I need a cold location as it will be uncomfortable for the actors to be dressed in winter clothing in May in Mumbai, so I’m checking out other locations that will be convenient for all of us. This is our last schedule and we want to make it the best one. We may be heading to Pune."

Due to the need of the story. the makers will create winter season in Pune during this scorching heat. It will be really interesting to see the whole set of cold weather in hot summer. As being the part of the movie, Shraddha has learnt the local accent Kumaoni. Though we all know she is very fond of picking up accents, so it will be amazing to see her with the new accent.

When asked about the same, Shraddha said, "The Kumaoni dialect sounds unique and different. It needs a fair amount of practice as it is challenging to replicate it as is."

During the shoot, Both the actors were staying in houses around the locals in Tehri. A source had told a leading daily, “The producers toyed with the idea of a five-star initially, but realized that the closest ones are in Dehradun. The conveyance would have been a hassle since the location is a three-hour-plus drive from Dehradun. That’s when Shahid and the producers decided to opt for homestay. When they suggested the idea to Shraddha, she instantly agreed.”
