CPM general secretary Sitaram Yechury and CPI secretary Atul Anjan questioned the role of the governors and said that the position of the governor is being misused by the Central Government. He alleged that the governor of Karnataka was used to grab the mandate.

The Lieutenant Governor in Delhi is not letting the elected government work. Yechury and Anjan said in a press conference in Jaipur on Monday that it is necessary to remove the BJP from power.  Yechury said that in West Bengal, Mamta Banerjee and Kerala cannot have a pre-election alliance with Congress, but after elections at the national level, the alliance is open. He said that secular votes should not be divided, for this, all the parties will unite and work to defeat the BJP.

He said that there is no such section in the country today, whose life does not have difficulties. Every class except the rich is troubled. Accusing the Central Government of failing on economic front, Yechury said that BJP is doing communal politics. The atmosphere of hatred is being spread all over the country.   In response to a question asked about the Rajasthan assembly elections, Atul Anjan said that in the state we want to combine with the same ideologue parties. Congress should take initiative for this.
