Use of bandages and medicines when taking a small fat injection takes a lot of time. Scientists have developed a new type of smart bandage technology.In which the wound can be adjusted in a short time by controlling the time and quantity of the medicine given to the patient. 

It looks like a simple bandage to look at a smart bandage, which protects injury or wounds from the outside dust and soil. Along with this, there will be a small microcontroller that will control the amount of medicine given to the patient. 

It has been developed by researchers from the Smart Bandage University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Harvard Medical Science. The electric fiber-coated gel has been used in this smart bandage. Medicines such as anti-biotic, painkillers can be used with this gel. 

The microcontroller used in the smart bandage will be the size of a small postal stamp, which can be controlled from any smartphone or any other wireless device. This will be the first bandage of this kind, in which different types of medicines can be delivered in different time and dosages in the same wound. Using this bandage, wounds can be filled soon. 

“Soldiers on the battlefield may be suffering from a number of different injuries or infections, They might be dealing with a number of different pathogens. Imagine that you have a variable patch that has antidotes or drugs targeted toward specific hazards in the environment.” Tamayo said.
