In Jammu and Kashmir's Sunderbani sector in the ceasefire violation by Pakistan yesterday in the evening the Rifleman Jayadrath Singh was killed. Around 6:00 PM the Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked firing on Indian Army posts in Sunderbani sector.
The Indian Army retaliated strongly and effectively. The Rifleman Singh during the fire exchange suffered from injuries and died.
Singh (28), was a resident of Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh and is survived by his wife Mamta Devi.
