With the wedding card revealed, it is clear that Sonam Kapoor is all set to tie the knots with her long-time boyfriend Anand Ahuja. The wedding ceremony will take place in Mumbai with two days event next week. The couple will get married on May 8, which will be a traditional wedding post which the families will host a party at a five-star hotel in the city.

According to the reports, earlier when Sonam took part in the Simi Garewal's show, she had talked about the wedding gift for her future husband. During an interview, Sonam Kapoor said that she have written quite a few poems but there was this one poem that she wrote at 16. She called it Ambition. She further includes that she had promised herself that she will present this poem to her future husband. She said, "The day I get married, the poem will be with that man and I'll say that this is what I want my life to be like and hopefully, we can work together towards this.”

The actor Sonam Kapoor will be taking break post her marriage. After this On May 14 and May 15, she will be walking on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival.Apart from this post-marriage, she will then begin promotions of her upcoming film, Veere Di Wedding.
