After the release of Veere di wedding, the awesome reviews of the film had come out. The box office collection was also good. The film starring 
Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, Shikha Talsania and Kareena Kapoor Khan Swara Bhasker. They broke the glass ceiling by going getting the thirst highest collection on day one at the box office. 

Sawara is always seen voicing her opinions and taking stands on various matters. Not only right now, but she was also trolled when she had written a letter to Sanjay Leela Bhansali after watching Padmavati

 Swara had recently reacted to the ban of the film Veere Di Wedding in Pakistan. After she was trolled with mean comments all over the social media, Sonam Kapoor who is also a close friend of her apart from the co-star said to the crowd that she thinks Swara is only trolled because she has an opinion and a point of view. 

Swara also tweeted “I believe there should be a distinction between States/ Governments of a country and the civilians of that country. My regard for and goodwill towards the people of Pakistan remains unchanged. Some of my closest friends are Pakistani. Lahore remains one of my soul cities."
